Are you a commercially driven Store Manager who knows how to build a strong team, deliver sales results and create an exceptional customer experience?

We're recruiting for a Store Manager in Castleford to lead a successful outdoor retail store, taking ownership of commercial performance, team development and day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high operational standards.

• Drive sales, achieve KPIs and maximise commercial performance.

• Take ownership of store profitability and identify opportunities to grow sales.

• Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing retail team.

• Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering excellent customer service.

• Maintain outstanding visual merchandising, stock control and store presentation.

• Monitor sales reports and performance data to make informed commercial decisions.

• Build a positive team culture where colleagues feel supported, motivated and accountable.

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced Store Manager, Retail Manager or an established Assistant Manager ready to take the next step, with a strong track record of leading teams and delivering results.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience driving sales and achieving retail KPIs.

• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to make sound business decisions.

• Experience recruiting, coaching and developing colleagues.

• A hands-on approach to leadership and a visible presence on the shop floor.

• A passion for customer service and delivering an excellent shopping experience.

• The confidence, energy and initiative to take ownership and make a difference.

Experience in outdoor, sports, fashion, lifestyle, footwear, garden centre or other customer-focused retail environments would be beneficial.
