An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Store Manager to take the lead at a successful lifestyle retail store in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established retailer with a strong presence and a loyal customer base. We're looking for a commercially minded leader who can bring energy to the shop floor, inspire their team and create an environment where customers love to shop.

As Store Manager, you'll have the freedom to make your mark on the business, combining a strong focus on sales and profitability with outstanding service, engaging product presentation and a positive team culture.

The Role

You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and overall performance of the store, ensuring the team is motivated, standards remain high and every customer receives a memorable experience.

From developing future talent to identifying opportunities for commercial growth, you'll play a key part in the store's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the management team and wider store colleagues

• Deliver sales targets and improve profitability through effective commercial planning

• Create a welcoming, engaging shopping environment that encourages customer loyalty

• Build lasting relationships with customers and understand their needs and preferences

• Maintain inspiring product displays and consistently high visual merchandising standards

• Use sales figures, KPIs and customer feedback to identify opportunities and improve results

• Oversee stock management, operational processes, compliance and loss prevention

• Foster a positive, accountable culture where people are encouraged to learn and progress

• Ensure the store reflects the retailer's values and delivers a consistent brand experience

About You

We're keen to hear from an established retail manager who enjoys developing people, improving performance and delivering a first-class customer experience.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience managing a retail store or a substantial retail operation

• A strong record of achieving sales targets and improving commercial results

• The ability to lead, coach and retain a motivated team

• A customer-first mindset and a genuine interest in lifestyle products and retail experiences

• Confidence interpreting KPIs and translating insights into practical action

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships

• A hands-on approach to store standards, merchandising and operational excellence

• The ambition to take ownership, challenge the status quo and make a positive difference
