Seller Manager - Marketplace

Leading Consumer Goods Brand | Central London | Hybrid & Flexible Working | Competitive Salary + Benefits

Zachary Daniels are proud to be representing a leading consumer goods brand in the search for a Seller Manager to join its growing online marketplace team.

If you currently work in seller management, seller success, marketplace partnerships, merchant management, vendor management or marketplace account management, this is an opportunity to take broader ownership of the seller experience.

As Seller Manager, you'll help sellers and brands succeed on the marketplace, building strong relationships, increasing engagement and ensuring sellers have the information, support and opportunities they need to grow.

You'll also act as the voice of the seller internally, using feedback and performance insight to influence how the marketplace develops.

What you'll be doing

Working across Marketplace, Commercial, Digital Trading, Operations and Technology, you'll manage and improve the experience of a varied seller base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with marketplace sellers, merchants, vendors and brand partners.

  • Driving seller engagement, seller satisfaction and seller growth.

  • Encouraging sellers to participate in promotions, campaigns and key trading events.

  • Understanding seller performance, challenges and opportunities.

  • Acting as the voice of sellers across the wider business.

  • Turning seller feedback into clear actions and marketplace improvements.

  • Managing seller communications including newsletters, updates and trading information.

  • Delivering seller webinars, forums, events and engagement initiatives.

  • Tailoring support and communication for different seller groups.

  • Working with Account Management to ensure sellers receive a consistently strong experience.

  • Coordinating activity across Marketplace, Commercial, Compliance and Operations.

  • Monitoring seller satisfaction, engagement and participation.

  • Improving seller-facing content, guides, FAQs and support resources.

What we're looking for

You may currently be working as a:

Seller Manager | Seller Success Manager | Seller Partnership Manager | Marketplace Partner Manager | Marketplace Account Manager | Merchant Manager | Vendor Manager | Senior Account Manager | Marketplace Consultant | Seller Engagement Manager

What matters most is that you understand how to build successful relationships with sellers, merchants, vendors or marketplace partners.

Essential experience

  • Experience within marketplace, ecommerce, retail or online concessions.

  • Seller, merchant, vendor, partner or account management experience.

  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.

  • A commercial understanding of what drives seller growth and performance.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, trading, ecommerce or operational teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confidence handling feedback, challenges and seller issues.

  • A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.

Useful, but not essential

Experience of seller communications, CRM, webinars, events, seller communities, satisfaction surveys or marketplace platforms would be advantageous.

Why join?

This is a chance to move beyond managing an individual portfolio and take broader ownership of seller experience and engagement across a growing marketplace.

You'll have visibility across the business, work closely with senior Marketplace leaders and have the opportunity to influence how sellers are supported, engaged and developed.

For someone currently working in seller success, marketplace partnerships, merchant management or vendor management, this offers a genuine next step with increased ownership and influence.

Location: Central London
Working pattern: Hybrid with good flexibility
Salary: Competitive salary + benefits

If you have experience managing marketplace sellers, merchants, vendors or commercial partners and want to take the next step in your marketplace career, Zachary Daniels would love to hear from you.
