Product Developer - Sports Accessories & Equipment
£40,000pa - £50,000pa + company benefits | Central London
An established high street retailer that leads the way in performance apparel, accessories and equipment have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Developer with strong new product development and range development experience to join its growing creative head office team in Central London.
As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for developing and managing the full product life-cycle of all categories ranging from sports and outdoor accessories and equipment for the UK and international markets. You will be the main point of contact for the entire product ranges, managing important crossing points between internal teams and external UK and international suppliers. Working closely with the buying, merchandising, quality control and design teams whilst reporting directly to the Head of Buying.
The ideal person must have previous buying or product development experience working at an established level within sports / outdoors apparel, accessories and equipment. Demonstrating exceptional experience within negotiation, range development, NPD, managing the full product life cycle, conducting presentations, and working with UK & international factories and suppliers. You must be an excellent communicator (written & verbal), have advanced technical fabric and materials knowledge, and be I.T proficient.
