About the opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established, fast-paced retail logistics operation to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader. This is a great opportunity to step into a people-focused leadership role within a large-scale, highly automated distribution environment.
This role will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern between 1:30pm - 1:00am
You'll be responsible for leading a team on shift, driving performance, and creating a culture where people feel engaged, supported, and motivated to deliver.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a team within a busy warehouse operation
- Driving performance against KPIs, SLAs, and productivity targets
- Managing resource and adapting to changing volumes and operational demands
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety, compliance, and housekeeping
- Monitoring attendance, performance, and engagement across your team
- Supporting cost control through effective labour planning and utilisation
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end operations
What we're looking for
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics leadership role (Team Leader / Supervisor level)
- Strong people management skills with a passion for engagement and development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Confident communicator who can motivate and influence teams
- A proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes and performance
