This is an exciting role working for a major supplier to big supermarkets.You'll be the first point of contact for all enquiries within the supply chain department, managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the team to ensure products reach the customers on time. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for logistics and customer service.
Supply Chain Coordinator / Import Merchandiser Responsibilities:
Acting as the first port of call for internal and external enquiries related to supply chain and imports.
Managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring goods are delivered on time.
Liaising with key suppliers and customers to resolve any issues or delays.
Supporting the team in ensuring all merchandise and stock are managed efficiently, from order placement to delivery.
Monitoring and reporting on stock levels, supplier performance, and delivery status.
Collaborating with internal teams and ensuring smooth communication throughout the process.
Adhering to KPIs and ensuring that all processes are followed and targets are met.
Supply Chain Coordinator / Import Merchandiser Requirements:
A strong interest in supply chain, imports, or merchandise coordination.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
Experience in an administrative or customer service role (preferably within a supply chain or import environment) is an advantage, but not essential.
A proactive attitude with a focus on resolving problems efficiently.
