This is a rare opportunity to join one of the world's most innovative and fast-growing technology groups in a senior, pan-European leadership role. You'll take ownership of the social media strategy across multiple key markets, overseeing activity for a portfolio of well-known household brands.

The Role:
As Director of Social Media, Europe, you'll lead the development and delivery of a cohesive, multi-market social media strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and performance across Europe.
You'll work closely with local market teams and global marketing leaders to align content, campaigns, and sponsorship activations - ensuring consistent messaging while empowering local creativity.
This is a truly hands-on strategic leadership role for someone who thrives on delivering excellence at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a Europe-wide social media strategy supporting brand, product, and sponsorship campaigns
- Partner with local market teams to align content, tone, and timing across multiple European territories
- Lead the creation and localisation of high-quality social content, ensuring global consistency and local relevance
- Manage social media and creative agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns and actionable performance insights
- Define KPIs and oversee social reporting across awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Lead the amplification of major global sponsorships across social channels
- Stay at the forefront of emerging platforms, technologies, and trends
- Collaborate closely with senior marketing stakeholders to drive alignment and best practice across Europe
- Manage regional budgets, ensuring maximum efficiency and ROI
- Provide guidance on issues management and social media crisis response
About You:
We're looking for an established social or digital leader with the experience and credibility to influence at the highest level.
- 10+ years' experience in social media, digital marketing, or brand communications
- At least 5 years in a regional or European leadership role
- Proven success developing and delivering multi-market social strategies
- Strong experience in consumer electronics, tech, or FMCG environments
- Skilled in both organic and paid social strategy
- Confident leading agencies and cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset, fluent in social performance and data tools
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Fluent in English (additional European languages advantageous)
- Flexibility to travel within Europe (1 week a month spent outside UK)
