Our retail partner is looking to appoint a talented Marketplace Account Manager to join its growing commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an 2individual to take ownership of key marketplace relationships, drive growth, and play a pivotal role in shaping the business's online trading strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with key marketplace channels.
Identify and analyse sales trends, using data to inform strategic decisions and optimise account performance.
Act as the main point of contact for major retail partners, building strong and collaborative relationships.
Support the leadership team by training colleagues, delegating tasks, and contributing to team development.
Provide cover for Trade and SMT functions when required.
Proactively manage workload and deadlines with strong attention to detail and self-organisation.
Create and maintain reports and analysis in Excel to support commercial goals.
Leverage existing contacts to identify new business opportunities (a bonus, not essential).
To be considered for the Position of Marketplace Account Manager, you will be:
Proven in a sales or commercial role; marketplace channel experience is highly desirable.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from data.
Sociable and confident communicator, able to manage external relationships effectively.
Experience in team support, training, or delegation.
Self-starter with strong time management and organisational skills.
Bonus: Existing network of marketplace contacts or new business leads within homewares/retail
