Due to continued growth we are delighted to be supporting them in the appointment of a new Production Co-ordinator.
Role Overview:
In the role of Production Co-ordinator you will be accountable to oversee and coordinate our clients product manufacturing processes from concept to delivery.You will work as part of a small production team, liaise with suppliers (including overseas manufacturers), and ensure all products meet quality, safety, and licensing standards, while keeping timelines and budgets on track.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the end-to-end production process for all product lines.
- Work closely with design, sales, and licensing teams to bring new products to market.
- Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as needed to meet retailer deadlines.
- Ensure products meet safety and quality standards, including compliance with UK and EU regulations.
- Resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with licensors to ensure brand compliance.
- Continuously look for ways to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing role, ideally within consumer goods.
- Experience working with licensed products and/or retailers in the UK is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and production planning.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and licensors.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience working within small teams with a collaborative leadership style.
- Knowledge of product safety and compliance standards for children's products (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production/supply chain software tools.
