We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our Amsterdam team and elevate the boutique's presence within the local market. High energy and a hands on approach is what this business and boutique requires from its leader.

The Role
As Store Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver outstanding service and achieve ambitious targets. Your focus will be on building a high-performing team, fostering client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence tailored to the unique demands of the Amsterdam and Dutch market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, lead, and inspire a motivated, customer-focused team. Provide coaching and support to help them grow professionally and perform at their best.
  • Client Experience: Set the benchmark for delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience, building strong, lasting relationships with both local and international clientele.
  • Market Knowledge: Utilize your deep understanding of the Amsterdam and Dutch retail landscape to identify opportunities, adapt strategies, and cater to the preferences of the local market.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure the boutique runs efficiently while maintaining luxury standards.
  • Strategic Focus: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, using insights to optimize sales and enhance the boutique's reputation. Develop and execute strategies to exceed KPIs.

About You
We are looking for a seasoned retail leader with a passion for luxury and a proven ability to drive success. You will have experience managing high-performing teams and a knack for creating memorable shopping experiences in a premium retail setting.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in senior retail management, ideally within the luxury or high-end sector.
  • A strong track record of leading, inspiring, and developing teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Amsterdam and Dutch retail market, including consumer trends and opportunities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members and clients alike.
  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Dutch is highly preferred. Additional languages are an asset.
  • A customer-first mindset, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service in every interaction.
  • Results-oriented and analytical, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
