This is a brilliant opportunity to join an established and growing omni-channel retail business, an industry leader in the UK. The company operates at rapid pace and the successful candidate will be familiar with operating in a fast moving retail environment. This Finance Business Partner will work directly with the Digital, Marketing and Sales Team to help shape the business direction.
About the role
The Finance Business Partner is to be the finance lead and to work alongside several different business divisions creating and maintaining close stakeholder relationships. The role will provide consistent support and analysis that can be relied upon to aid commercial decision making. The Finance Business Partner will be a key commercial individual in the relevant divisions, shaping their future, whilst working closely with the operations team to contribute to the company strategy
Key responsibilities
- Work with non-finance stakeholders to provide comprehensive commercial forecasts
- Work closely with the divisional head to manage overheads
- Provide accurate analysis to aid commercial decision making
- Stock and logistics weekly reporting analysis
- Support and challenge to drive greater efficiency and improve profitability
- Presentation and provision of excellent reporting at team meetings
- Support budgeting process
- Help to improve sales growth
- Commercial decision support
Person profile
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified
- Robust and autonomous character, able to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience within a fast paced retail/consumer environment is highly desirable
- Strong IT skills including advanced excel including modelling
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment with ever-changing priorities
Package pro rate for 4 days per week
£45,000 - £60,000 (full time equivalent), 25 days holiday, pension, plus benefits
