Job Opportunity: Sales Development Manager

Sector: Air Freight/Sea Freight

Salary: Up to £60,000 dependant on experience plus package

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in both Sea and Air freight industries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of effectively sourcing, cultivating, and expanding sea and air freight business.

Are you a driven sales professional eager to expand your horizons? We are seeking a Sales Manager to join a vibrant team, focusing on outbound sales and growing our clientele within the air freight and LCL sea freight sectors.

Role:

  • Outbound Sales: Engage proactively with potential clients to demonstrate our services and secure new business opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize marketing qualified leads to identify and pursue prospective clients.
  • Specialized Focus: Concentrate on air freight, air consolidation, and LCL sea freight consolidation services.
  • New Business Acquisition: Drive efforts to acquire new clients and enhance our market presence.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience in air freight and/or LCL new business development, preferably with exposure to NVOC LCL sea freight operations, air consolidation procedures, and general air and sea freight sales.
  • Proven Success: Track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, with at least 5 years' experience in air freight/sea freight sector.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work autonomously, leveraging marketing-generated leads to fuel sales initiatives.
