We're recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join a popular, trend-led beauty retailer at Stansted Airport.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager to build on their retail leadership experience, working alongside the Store Manager to create an engaging customer experience, support the team and contribute to the store's ongoing success.

The Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play an important part in the daily running of the store, helping to keep the team motivated, standards high and customers at the heart of everything they do.

You'll be a visible presence on the shop floor, supporting colleagues, leading by example and ensuring the store operates efficiently in a busy airport environment. From coaching team members to keeping on top of stock and daily operations, you'll help ensure everything runs smoothly, stepping in to support the Store Manager whenever needed.

A Day in the Role

• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and overall team performance.

• Encourage and motivate colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.

• Be hands-on on the shop floor, supporting customers and helping the team make the most of every sales opportunity.

• Assist with coaching, training and developing team members.

• Help coordinate rotas, stock management, deliveries and other daily operational tasks.

• Monitor sales and KPIs, working with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure the store remains well presented, organised and aligned with brand standards.

• Support the Store Manager with key responsibilities and deputise when required.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in delivering great service and is keen to make a positive contribution to store performance.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or management position.

• The confidence to support, motivate and guide a team.

• An understanding of retail sales targets, KPIs and the importance of commercial performance.

• A hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

• An interest in beauty, cosmetics and the latest trends.

Experience in beauty, cosmetics, fashion or premium retail would be an advantage.
