Warehouse Manager | Fashion | Gtr. Manchester | £50k

The Opportunity

We're working with an exciting and growing ecommerce business in Greater Manchester that is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day warehouse operation.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, leading from the front and making sure orders, stock and people are operating at their best.

You'll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business, ensuring customers receive the right products, on time and to the highest standard.

Applicants must have experience within an e-commerce operation and ideally have knowledge of Shopify and Linnworks.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take day-to-day responsibility for the warehouse operation, leading and motivating the team.
  • Be hands-on with picking, packing, goods-in, dispatch and stock control.
  • Manage the full ecommerce order fulfilment process from order receipt through to dispatch.
  • Own stock accuracy, cycle counts, stock takes and investigate discrepancies.
  • Use Linnworks extensively to manage orders, inventory and warehouse activity.
  • Work closely with Shopify and the wider ecommerce team to ensure orders and stock flow seamlessly.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs including order accuracy, dispatch performance, stock accuracy and productivity.
  • Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes and efficiency.
  • Manage courier and delivery relationships where required.
  • Maintain excellent warehouse standards across Health & Safety, housekeeping and organisation.
  • Support peak trading periods and help the operation scale alongside business growth.

About you

We're looking for a Warehouse Manager who has experience of e-commerce operations and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous Warehouse Management / Supervisory experience within an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong, demonstrable experience using Linnworks.
  • Good working knowledge of Shopify and how it integrates with ecommerce fulfilment.
  • Experience managing D2C orders and fast-paced ecommerce operations.
  • Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating a warehouse team.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with a real "get stuck in" mentality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
  • Experience working within a growing, entrepreneurial or fast-moving business would be highly advantageous.
