Regional Director - East Midlands
3-Day Working Week | £160,000 Pro Rata + Strong Bonus + Executive Package
What if you didn't have to choose between leading at the highest level and having more time for the things that matter most?
For years, we've talked about flexible working.
But when it comes to executive operational leadership, genuine opportunities have been incredibly rare.
This role changes that.
We're searching for an exceptional Regional Director to lead a major retail operation across the East Midlands, with responsibility for a region generating around £1bn in annual sales.
This isn't a step back.
It isn't a transition role.
It isn't a stepping stone back into work.
And it isn't a route back to full-time leadership.
It's a life choice.
This is a permanent executive opportunity designed around a 3-day working week for someone who has made a conscious decision about how they want to lead.
Whether you're returning from parental leave, balancing caring responsibilities, or simply choosing a different way to combine an executive career with life outside of work, this role offers the opportunity to continue leading at the highest level without compromising on impact, influence or responsibility.
The Opportunity
You'll provide strategic leadership across a large, complex store estate, leading through senior operational teams to deliver exceptional commercial performance, develop future leaders and create an outstanding customer experience.
Package
£160,000 pro rata salary
Strong performance-related bonus
Executive benefits package
Permanent 3-day working week
About You
We're looking for an exceptional leader who can demonstrate:
Significant Regional Director or equivalent senior multi-site leadership experience.
A background within supermarkets or large-scale convenience retail is essential.
Accountability for a business with £300m+ turnover, leading large, complex retail operations.
A proven track record of delivering commercial success through high-performing teams.
The ability to inspire, influence and develop senior leaders while creating a culture of accountability and excellence.
This is one of the most progressive Regional Director opportunities currently available in UK retail.
If you're looking for a role that offers executive-level responsibility alongside genuine flexibility-or you know someone who may be-we'd love to have a confidential conversation.
Sometimes the best leaders aren't looking for less responsibility. They're simply looking for a different way to lead.
