This is a 40-hour contract, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with Saturdays on a rota, 09:00 to 13:00. There are no evening shifts, offering a strong work-life balance compared with traditional retail management roles.

You'll be involved in:
- Responding to customer enquiries and converting leads into reservations
- Delivering excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships
- Supporting sales activity, upselling where appropriate and maximising opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records, customer information and internal systems
- Supporting with rent payments, arrears and general administration
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe, secure and well presented
- Carrying out basic health & safety checks and reporting any maintenance issues
- Supporting day-to-day operations and helping the wider team deliver strong site performance
The Candidate
We're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a hands-on role.
You could come from a background such as:
- Retail management
- Hospitality management
- Leisure or fitness management
- Sales administration
- Customer service
- Property, lettings or facilities
You'll need:
- Strong customer service skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence using systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, can-do approach
- The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- A commercial mindset and confidence speaking to customers about products and services
Previous self-storage experience would be useful, but it is not essential.
The Package
- Salary: £28,000
- Discretionary end-of-year bonus
- 40-hour contract
- No evening shifts
- Pension
- On-site parking
- Supportive working environment
- Opportunity to join a growing sector with strong long-term prospects
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a customer-facing management role with variety, responsibility and a better work-life balance than traditional retail or hospitality.
