Store Manager | Northcote Road, Battersea | £37,000 + Benefits
We're recruiting for a Store Manager to lead a high-performing flagship store for a well-established, founder-led premium retail brand. Located on the ever-popular Northcote Road in Battersea, this is a small but high-impact store set within one of South West London's most vibrant and community-driven shopping streets-known for its mix of independent boutiques, cafés, and strong local footfall. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a store with ambitious turnover goals, within a brand that blends heritage, quality, and a truly customer-first approach.
The Opportunity
As Store Manager, you'll lead from the front in a shop floor-driven role, spending the majority of your time engaging customers, driving sales, and supporting your team.
This is a high-density, fast-moving environment where strong commercial awareness and presence on the floor are key. You'll have real autonomy to run your store, with trust placed in your leadership and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse and engaged team
- Drive store performance, delivering against KPIs including UPT and ATV
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards in a print-led environment
- Deliver a premium, seamless, and engaging customer experience
- Oversee rotas, staffing, and day-to-day operations with a high level of autonomy
- Build a positive, collaborative culture rooted in consistency and respect
About You
- An experienced retail manager from a premium or high street background
- Naturally warm, engaging, and people-focused
- Energetic, resilient, and commercially driven
- Passionate about product, retail, and visual merchandising
- A strong leader who develops their team through trust-not micromanagement
The Environment
- Founder-led business with a clear vision and strong values
- "Best idea wins" culture-ideas are welcomed from all levels
- High trust, low micromanagement leadership style
- Shop floor-led operation with focus on sales and customer experience over admin
- Diverse, supportive, and professional team culture
What's on Offer
- £37,000 salary
- Real autonomy to run your store and make an impact
- Opportunity to grow within a respected and established brand
- A vibrant location on Northcote Road, surrounded by a strong local community and steady footfall
