Salary: Circa £50,000/£55,000 + Commission (flexible for the right candidate)
Location: Scunthorpe | Hybrid (office & remote working)
This is a new business hunter role. If you thrive on generating sales from scratch and turning prospects into loyal clients, this Business Development Manager position could be your next big challenge. We're looking for someone with a service led background and a proven track record of winning new business, ideally in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or retail.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving growth from scratch, building relationships with e-commerce brands that need a reliable 3PL partner and shaping the commercial direction of the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Generate new business from scratch, building your own pipeline of e-commerce clients
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with tailored 3PL solutions
- Shape the commercial and growth strategy alongside a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team
- Provide market insight to drive service innovation and open new sectors
- Achieve ambitious sales targets, unlocking excellent commission potential

- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, with success generating new business from scratch
- Service-led background with strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence, negotiate, and close
