The Company
A large, fast-growing international retail business operating in multiple sectors. With a strong focus on operational excellence, financial control, and continuous improvement, the organisation supports multiple business units across the UK and internationally. The finance function plays a key role in driving performance, supporting senior stakeholders, and delivering strategic growth initiatives.
The Role
- Produce monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Post key journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Support financial close activities and day-to-day accounting operations
- Partner with senior stakeholders across departments, attending meetings and presenting financial insights
- Lead or support finance projects focused on process improvement and efficiency
- Assist with year-end statutory accounts and internal/external audit requirements
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and technical skills
- Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing changing priorities
- Experienced with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
