Infrastructure Engineer | London (Hybrid) | £40k-£45k
Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer. This is a hands-on role within a technology team that plays a critical role in maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Linux experience who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working closely with engineering and security teams in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:
· Maintain and support Linux servers (Red Hat / CentOS) across physical and virtual environments. · Support Windows-based environments where required. · Monitor system performance, availability, and security. · Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues across the TCP/IP stack. · Apply patches, updates, and security fixes in line with best practice. · Support AWS infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking. · Maintain backups, disaster recovery processes, and system documentation. · Work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams. · Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:
· Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Linux Systems Administrator. · Strong Linux background (Red Hat / CentOS). · Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC). · Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing). · Exposure to Windows environments. · Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible) is desirable. · Comfortable in a hands-on, operational role.
