About the Deputy Manager Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll support the Store Manager and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. Your role will focus on people leadership, performance management and operational excellence - with clear progression opportunities into Store Management.
Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager
- Support the Deputy Manager in delivering KPIs: sales, shrinkage and wage control
- Drive exceptional customer service and team engagement
- Oversee stock control, merchandising and compliance standards
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed
- Analyse store data to identify areas for improvement and growth
What We're Looking For in a Deputy Manager
- Proven experience as a Manager (or similar level) in a fast-paced retail environment
- A hands-on leader who thrives on the shop floor and motivates others
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Passionate about customer service and hitting targets
- Proactive and eager to develop into a future Store Manager
