Salary: €34,800 gross per year + team bonus (approx. €300 per month)
Location: DüsseldorfWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm; Saturday until 3:00pm (no shift work)

We are recruiting on behalf of an internationally successful self-storage business for an Assistant Store Manager (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf.
The Role
Providing professional advice and selling storage units and additional services (e.g. insurance, packing materials), both face to face in store and over the phone
Actively following up leads and making outbound calls to convert enquiries into rentals
Independently managing rental contracts, renewals, cash handling and customer accounts
Taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, including organisation, security, key and alarm systems and basic site checks
Working with performance KPIs such as occupancy, conversion rates and add-on sales, and producing reports
Working closely within a small, self-managed store team

What We're Looking For
Experience in retail, sales or customer service
Friendly, professional manner with a genuine enjoyment of customer interaction, both in person and over the phone
Sales-focused mindset with an emphasis on excellent service rather than hard selling
Very good German skills at C1 level and good English skills at B2 level
Confident using PCs and CRM systems; a Category B driving licence is advantageous
