Part of a private equity-backed group, this is a growing, design‑led wholesaler that partners with some of the world's most recognisable entertainment and pop‑culture brands. From its UK base, it supplies thousands of retailers across the UK, Europe and international markets, so you will be joining a fast-paced, highly creative and commercially driven environment where distinctive products and new ideas move quickly from concept to customer
The Role
- Preparing group management information and completing balance sheet reconciliations with a high standard of accuracy.
- Supporting the Finance Manager with KPI analysis, financial control and insightful variance commentary.
- Leading the preparation of budgets, presenting them to relevant stakeholders, and managing forecasting and group reforecasting processes.
- Producing weekly reporting and assisting functional teams with their own submissions to drive trading performance.
- Supporting the audit cycle, including schedules, consolidation files and financial statements.
- Producing recurring reports that inform operational and commercial decisions across multiple UK sites and international markets.
- Providing financial insight to senior leadership and managers across the organisation, challenging and supporting them on performance.
- Assisting the Finance Director with strategic, entrepreneurial and commercial projects, including PE-backed value creation initiatives.
- Working with multiple currencies, knowledge of currencies/FX and multi-currency reporting is preferable.
About you
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, with strong management accounting experience.
- ERP experience, ideally with modern cloud or enterprise systems.
- Background in group accounting, including multi-currency and intercompany work.
- Confidence in handling large datasets and interpreting complex financial information, with advanced Excel capability.
- Exposure to SME environments is a bonus, particularly where you have been close to operations and commercial decision-making.
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, project-led environment where you can own initiatives and improve processes end-to-end.
