The Role

As Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in shaping strategy and driving performance across a major category. This is a traditional merchandising position with a strong focus on stores. You'll work closely with an experienced buying team, making data-led decisions to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.

You'll be responsible for managing and developing a team, setting clear goals, and ensuring strong commercial performance across your area.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering effective end-to-end merchandising for your category, from planning through to in-season trading

• Collaborating closely with the buying team to build commercial and customer-focused ranges

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Merchandising professionals

• Managing OTB, WSSI and stock levels to maximise sales and profitability

• Driving store performance through effective allocation and replenishment strategies

• Reporting on performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

About You

• Proven experience in a retail merchandising role, ideally within a high street or fashion environment

• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team

• Highly analytical with a commercial mindset and excellent attention to detail

• Confident working cross-functionally, particularly with Buying, Supply Chain, and Retail teams

• A passion for product and a strong understanding of the UK retail landscape
