The Role
As Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in shaping strategy and driving performance across a major category. This is a traditional merchandising position with a strong focus on stores. You'll work closely with an experienced buying team, making data-led decisions to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
You'll be responsible for managing and developing a team, setting clear goals, and ensuring strong commercial performance across your area.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering effective end-to-end merchandising for your category, from planning through to in-season trading
Collaborating closely with the buying team to build commercial and customer-focused ranges
Leading, coaching and developing a team of Merchandising professionals
Managing OTB, WSSI and stock levels to maximise sales and profitability
Driving store performance through effective allocation and replenishment strategies
Reporting on performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
About You
Proven experience in a retail merchandising role, ideally within a high street or fashion environment
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team
Highly analytical with a commercial mindset and excellent attention to detail
Confident working cross-functionally, particularly with Buying, Supply Chain, and Retail teams
A passion for product and a strong understanding of the UK retail landscape
