Your Responsibilities as Design Engineer:

• Design and develop soft goods across products, including roof tents, awnings, storage, and accessories.

• Integrate soft goods with structural components, ensuring seamless textile and framework assembly.

• Create innovative, functional solutions aligned with the brand's design language and purpose.

• Gather insights from user feedback and field testing to inform design decisions.

• Translate concepts into technical drawings, patterns, and specifications for prototyping.

• Lead CMF (colour, material, finish) strategy to maintain a consistent, elevated product identity.

• Select materials and construction methods that meet performance, cost, sustainability, and aesthetic goals.

• Collaborate with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to validate and implement materials.

• Build and test functional prototypes, from rough mock-ups to refined samples.

• Work with manufacturers to solve sampling, construction, and production challenges.

• Maintain technical documentation, including tech packs and BOMs, throughout the design process.

• Support field testing and iterate designs based on real-world performance, while aligning with brand storytelling.
