We're now looking for an experienced Stock Control Manager to take their stock management operations to the next level.
About the Role
As Stock Control Manager, you'll lead a dedicated stock control team, responsible for managing stock accuracy and movement across the store estate, distribution centre, and chilled warehouses.
This is a high-impact role where you'll design and embed efficient stock procedures, lead annual and rolling stock counts, and drive improvements across the full supply chain. You'll be the key link between stores, logistics, and buying - ensuring that the stock data is always accurate and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire and mentor the stock control team across multiple locations.
Develop and implement efficient stock management procedures and systems.
Design and manage physical inventory count routines (including year-end counts).
Drive root cause analysis and resolution of stock discrepancies.
Collaborate closely with store managers, logistics, and buying teams to improve stock accuracy.
Reduce stock wastage through better processes and proactive insight.
Report on stock performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
About You
Proven experience in stock control or inventory management within a multi-site retail, distribution, or FMCG environment.
A strong leader with a hands-on approach and excellent team management skills.
Analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving efficiency.
Confident in leading cross-functional collaboration and communicating with senior stakeholders.
Organised, proactive, and excited by the freedom to build, shape, and improve.
