Finance Manager

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of a growing finance function in a people-focused consumer organisation on a positive transformation journey. You'll lead a talented team, oversee all core finance operations, and deliver the insight and analysis that drives effective decision-making at senior level.

The role offers real scope to shape processes, influence strategy, and play a key part in future growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and developing the finance team, setting objectives and encouraging professional growth
• Significant involvement in FP&A
• Overseeing end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, payroll and month-end close
• Delivering accurate and insightful management accounts, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to translate financial data into clear business insight
• Driving improvements in systems, processes, and internal controls
• Managing cash flow forecasting and treasury ensuring the business maintains strong liquidity and effective working capital management
• Managing external relationships including auditors, banks, and advisors

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong track record in finance leadership roles, ideally 5+ years' experience
• Technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial controls
• Practice background desirable
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence and support decision-making
• Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team
• Organised, detail-driven, and confident handling competing priorities
