The Perks
- Work from wherever suits you best.
- Report into a Head of Buying with an impressive track record - plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
- This is a successful, steady brand that's scaling fast. The right person will thrive here, with plenty of career progression on the table.
This brand is building ranges that inspire, connect, and deliver.
As their new Junior Buyer, you'll play a central role in shaping commercial product assortments that balance style, price, and profitability. This isn't a role where you're bogged down in technical product development as they've got brilliant product developers who handle the materials, sourcing, and creation across hardlines, homeware, and upholstery.
What they need is a commercially sharp buyer who knows how to build a range that truly works with products that talk to each other, spanning from accessible entry points to premium exits, and that make sense for both their customer and the brands bottom line. Why this role?
If you've got a background in buying or category management, you'll feel right at home here. You'll use your trading mindset to read the numbers daily, pivot when needed, and keep ranges profitable and relevant.
You'll also be the rallying point between design, product development, and merchandising with making sure everyone's pulling in the same direction to deliver the right product at the right time. What You'll Be Doing As Their Junior Buyer:
- Create and manage a balanced, commercial assortment with strong price architecture, from entry to premium.
- Stay on top of daily and weekly sales performance, making quick, informed decisions to maximise profit.
- Build strong supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and represent Swyft with confidence.
- Bring design, merch, and product development together to deliver cohesive, profitable ranges.
- Keep the supply chain flowing with tracking stock, and ensuring products land on time.
What They're Looking For
- You know how to build and trade a range that delivers not just in theory, but in practice.
- Data doesn't intimidate you and you use it daily to inform decisions and drive results.
- Skilled at managing suppliers and rallying internal teams around the commercial vision.
- This is a fully remote role, so you'll need initiative, confidence, and the drive to just get on with it.
- Balancing external partnerships with cross-functional collaboration.
- Buying or category management background at Assistant/Junior level (or higher) is ideal.
