We're recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join a welcoming, customer-focused shop in the heart of Keswick. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing retail business where people come first - both customers and team.

About the role:
As Assistant Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of the shop alongside the Store Manager. You'll lead from the front - motivating the small boutique team, delivering brilliant service, and driving sales through great customer conversations.
This isn't high-volume retail - it's about taking time with customers, understanding their needs, and helping them find something special.
You'll be involved in everything from merchandising and shop floor standards to coaching team members and assisting with events and local engagement. As Assistant Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the success of the shop every day.
What we're looking for:
A confident and approachable Assistant Manager or experienced Supervisor ready to step up
Someone who's worked in retail and knows how to create a warm, welcoming shop environment
A natural leader who brings energy and focus to the team
Detail-focused, sales-savvy, and happy to get stuck into all aspects of running a shop
Able to work flexibly, including weekends and occasional evenings for events
Full product training is provided - we're more interested in your leadership, enthusiasm, and love for retail than your background in a specific sector.
