We're recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a leading food retailer, managing a key Ambient category. This is a high-impact role for someone with a trader's mentality - commercially sharp, fast-moving, and confident making decisions that drive profit.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage the ambient category end-to-end

• Build strong supplier relationships and lead negotiations

• React to trends and drive new product opportunities

• Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain and merchandising

• Deliver margin and commercial targets through smart, agile buying

What We're Looking For

• Experience in buying within food retail (ambient preferred)

• Strong commercial mindset with a deal-driven approach

• Confident negotiator who thrives under pressure

• Knowledge of the UK grocery or retail landscape

• Based in Yorkshire or willing to travel regularly
