£35,000 + Car + Bonus + Pension + 26 Days Holiday & BH
Home Based (with travel as required)We're working with an established and growing business within the DIY sector, currently seeking a Key Account Manager to support their National Account Manager across several key retail customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Key Account Manager or aspiring commercial professional who is keen to step into a role with real visibility, autonomy, and development potential. You'll be joining a forward thinking, supportive business at an exciting stage of growth - with a strong presence across the UK and a respected product range in the DIY space.
The Role:
- Support the National Account Manager in delivering commercial goals and managing a variety of customers from key national retail customers to independents
- As Key Account Manager, you'll build strong day-to-day relationships with buyers and customer stakeholders
- Assist in the creation of joint business plans, promotional schedules, and reporting activities
- Coordinate internally with marketing, supply chain, and other departments to ensure successful execution
- Monitor sales performance and identify areas for growth and improvement
- Take ownership of selected accounts, driving incremental revenue and strengthening partnerships
- Effective time management and journey planning
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a similar Key Account Manager / Representative role, within a consumer goods environment - ideally DIY or FMCG
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport across all levels
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset to spot opportunities
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team
- Eagerness to grow and progress within a business that values talent and initiative
