In the role of Buying Manager you will be accountable for a category that sits within their extensive chilled offering. Working closely with suppliers and the in-house NPD team you will drive the range and offering to ensure our client stays at the forefront of the UK market.

To be considered for this role you must come from a food based buying background, having ideally worked within a supermarkets, convenience or food service based business.

You must have had at least 2 years working in the chilled food category.

You must have the experience to review suppliers, introduce new sources and negotiate trading terms. Your Buying experience will give you the knowledge to oversee supply, ensure continuity and product availability. A background in a complex, constantly changing food retail environment would be ideal
