Head of Digital and Ecommerce | Manchester/Hybrid | Salary up to £125k | DTC
A growing DTC organisation is looking for a Head of Digital and eCommerce to lead its digital function, with full accountability for performance, strategic direction and commercial growth. This position will shape the delivery of scalable, high-quality digital products and services that meet the evolving needs of a diverse customer base.
The Head of Digital and eCommerce will oversee the product, engineering and design teams, working across both direct and partner channels to ensure a strong digital presence and seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the performance and day-to-day management of the digital function, owning a P&L exceeding £20m.
- Drive the development and optimisation of digital products and services, including self-service tools, online ordering, and omnichannel solutions such as click & collect and service portals.
- Set and deliver commercial targets for digital, including new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Develop strong relationships across the organisation and with external digital partners to align and scale digital initiatives.
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing digital team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
- Define and lead the digital strategy, influencing executive leadership and gaining buy-in across senior stakeholders.
- Champion digital across the organisation, embedding a digital-first culture and mindset.
- Serve as the business's expert in digital, staying informed on industry trends and providing thought leadership.
- Collaborate closely with IT and other key functions to ensure infrastructure supports scalable, cost-effective growth.
- Represent the digital function at leadership forums and relevant industry events.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong leadership background within digital roles within commercial or fast-moving DTC environments.
- Clear understanding of digital product, technology delivery, and customer experience in a DTC setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, deliver against KPIs, and influence strategic decision-making.
- Confident communicator with credibility at senior and executive levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change.
