Zachary Daniels are proud to be recruiting for a Regional Director on behalf of a high-profile food retailer with a strong presence across the UK.
The Role:
As Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a large group of stores across The Midlands, delivering commercial excellence, operational standards and an exceptional customer experience. This is a critical leadership role that demands strategic thinking, a passion for food retail, and the ability to build and empower high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Area Managers and Store Managers across the Midlands region
Drive commercial performance and profitability in line with business objectives
Champion customer service and ensure operational excellence across all locations
Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, new store openings and continuous improvement
Develop strong cross-functional relationships across Head Office and Supply Chain
Foster a culture of accountability, people development and high performance
About You:
Proven experience in a senior regional leadership role within supermarkets or convenience retail
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex P&Ls and deliver results
Inspirational leadership style with a focus on team development and coaching
Highly adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
A natural collaborator with the ability to influence at all levels of a large, fast-moving business
