Zachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a leading supermarket and convenience retailer that is currently in an exciting period of growth. With new store openings planned, we're looking for a talented Regional Manager to oversee operations, drive performance, and shape the future of the business across the Essex, Cambridgeshire and Anglia areas.
About the Role:
As Regional Manager for this thriving brand, you will take full responsibility for the performance and operations of multiple supermarket and convenience stores. You will support and coach your team, ensuring that stores meet operational, financial, and customer service targets. With new store openings on the horizon, you will also play a key role in overseeing the smooth integration of new stores into the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Leadership: Oversee the performance and operations of multiple supermarket and convenience stores across South East England, ensuring high operational standards and consistency in service through a team of Area Manager's.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor your team, providing guidance and coaching to help them achieve their goals and drive success across the stores within your region.
- Sales & Profitability: Drive sales growth and profitability by implementing data-driven strategies to optimise store performance and improve the customer experience.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all stores operate efficiently, maintaining high standards in stock management, store presentation, and adherence to company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Customer Experience: Foster a culture of customer service excellence, ensuring all stores deliver a welcoming and efficient shopping experience for customers.
- Financial Management: Oversee the P&L for your region, ensuring stores meet financial targets and implementing cost control measures to improve profitability.
- Expansion Support: Play an active role in the opening of new stores, ensuring they are set up for success and smoothly integrated into your region's operations.
About You:
We are looking for a Regional Manager with significant experience in discount, supermarket, or convenience retail. You should have a track record of managing multi-site operations, driving performance, and delivering operational and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key qualifications and skills required:
- Proven leadership experience in discount, supermarket, or convenience retail, with multi-site responsibility is a must.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, driving sales, and achieving financial results.
- A history of improving operational performance and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate store teams.
- A solid understanding of retail operations, stock management, merchandising, and health & safety compliance.
- Able to operate strategically and operationally as a Regional Manager.
