The Role:
As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in sourcing and developing product categories, working closely with suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing. You'll also oversee stock management, product strategies, and market trends to ensure a competitive and successful product offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise sales, margin, and profitability within your category.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best products at competitive prices.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage stock forecasting and availability.
• Monitor competitor activity to ensure product ranges remain competitive.
• Implement category strategies aligned with business and customer needs.
• Manage and communicate price changes effectively with stakeholders.

• Proven experience in a buying role, ideally within the food industry.
