An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-known brand and contribute to a passionate, supportive team. You will manage financial accounts, oversee bank reconciliations, and collaborate with senior leadership across a growing, international business.
Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
- Manage financial accounts for the core business such as store, online and wholesale across the UK and EU
- Oversee month-end, year-end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and the fixed asset register.
- Provide commentary on monthly management accounts and partner with senior leadership (CFO, Head of Finance, etc.).
- Direct line management of two cash and banking accountants, ensuring timely review of bank reconciliations.
- Support regulatory reporting across multiple international markets (UK, EU, Germany, and beyond).
- Lead the foundation's financial accounting, managing quarterly accounts and audits.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Financial Accounting Manager and Group Financial Controller.
Financial Accountant Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or finalist.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant with team management experience.
- Expertise in bank reconciliations and accounting systems (Microsoft NAV preferred).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with non-finance stakeholders.
- Retail or B2C experience is advantageous but not essential.
