Store Manager | New Store Opening | £52 - £58,000 basic OTE £80k

We are working exclusively on a new store opening where we are seeking a top-class Store Manager to join a business, to take ownership of all key departments and drive performance to the next level! You will have full autonomy over you teams and the store - we are looking for a true entrepreneurial retailer and not just a key holder! In return our client will offer unrivalled training, development, a high salary and a share of store profits! OTE is potentially in excess of £80k!

This store will be a true destination retail site, it will have something for every customer profile and as a Store Manager you will provide a truly fantastic shopping experience. As a proven retail leader, you will set the tone, be on the shop floor with colleagues and customers and engaging with everyone at all times!

We are keen to speak to retailers who have a track record in either; Department Stores, Destination Stores, Garden Centres, Big Box stores or assisted sales. You will have service at the heart of what you do and have the focus to be the best around.

The opportunity as a Store Manager is unique, you will have the chance to earn a percentage of the store profits- as a result you can control the price of products, make commercial decisions around stock and also be creative with pricing to ensure sales are achieved! You will be a Store Manager known for service but have that hunger and motivation to progress internally to the next level.

What you will do as a Store Manager

• Deliver a service that exceeds customer expectations
• Service focused at all times
• Achieve sales in store and ensuring site profitability.
• Make commercial decisions to drive sales
• Responsible for colleague development and training
• High levels of visual merchandising
• Training, coaching and developing your team.
• Keeping up with current trends, including competitor analysis.
