Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a leading UK's supplier working in a specialist industry.We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager who has the ability to lead a small team and . The role will require the Warehouse Manager to manage a small team.
The ideal candidate will have previous Warehouse Management experience and must have a valid and in date FLT license.
The role as Warehouse Manager:
- Provide constant positive leadership, training and coaching to motivate and develop your team.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, fulfilment, and productivity.
- Working closely with various departments within the business to ensure processes run smoothly.
- Deliver improvement plans and initiatives.
- Provide support and improve your team in terms of training, engagement, and teamwork.
- Drive your team to consistently produce high standards.
- Hold regular meetings with your team to review departments performance.
- Create a hardworking, positive culture.
- Provide feedback to your team.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are always met and followed.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance/calibration when necessary.
- Can perform and delegate stock control operations to maintain accuracy.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Experience across E-comm, pallet and container distribution
- Experience Managing a small team in a similar environment
- Good Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety procedures
- Approachable with the ability to motivate and develop teams/individuals
- A mechanical understanding is desirable
- FLT Licence is essential
