Our esteemed client is seeking a talented Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations in their Distribution centre in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and contribute to the success of a thriving maintenance team. We are looking for someone who has some mechanical and electrical skills.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Efficiently manage day-to-day operations.
- Mentor and guide Maintenance Engineers.
- Delegate tasks effectively for streamlined processes.
- Hit performance targets and ensure timely task completion.
- Oversee inspections and routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain high standards during site visits.
- Collaborate with the team, contractors, and authorities.
- Keep maintenance manuals up-to-date.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in team supervision.
- Preferably with some electrical and mechanical experience.
- An understanding of building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating.
- Represent the company as a reliable Ambassador.
- Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
