Based in Buckinghamshire, are client are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Senior Buyer to join this dynamic team. Day to day in the position of Senior Buyer for our client based in Buckinghamshire, you will be responsible for:

• Own and deliver the specific category ranges for you and your team
• Generating ideas and proposals to positively impact the promotions and trade plan
• Build mutually beneficial supplier relationships and represent the brand at all times
• Support the wider commercial team to help deliver efficiency projects
• Partner with the product merchandising team to maintain optimum stock levels across each of the trading channels
• Attend and support the commercial team buying trips

To be considered for the position of Senior Buyer for our client based in Buckinghamshire, you will offer the following:

• Minimum 3 years' operating as a Buyer/Senior Buyer/Category Manager, within retail.
• Must have previous frontline supplier facing experience.
• Commercially astute with a proven track record of leading negotiations to a successful conclusion.
• An inspiring people manager with experience managing, developing and coaching your team.
• Highly organised and stays calm under pressure
• Familiar with MS Office applications.
• Numerate and able to analyse detailed data , with good excel skills.
