This leading High Street Retailer renowned globally for its apparel, accessories and homeware ranges is currently recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser with strong inventory management and planning experience to join its Central London buying & merchandising team.

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandiser with delivering the category's strategy, driving sales and profit, range planning and promotional opportunities. You will manage line-cards and stock intake, forecasting and reporting, supplier liaison and ensuring the right stock is being shipped on time. You will be a key part of the merchandising team reporting directly to the Merchandiser whilst overseeing and supporting the MAA.

The ideal candidate will be at Assistant Merchandiser level working for a fashion retailer, brand or online retailer. Possessing excellent time management, negotiation, presentation, numerical, analytical, communication (written & verbal) skills and the ability to work with multiple internal departments and external suppliers. You must have excellent I.T skills using Microsoft Office with advanced Excel.
