Part time Bookkeeper
Hours: 3-4 days per week, 6.30am - 2pm - office based
Based London - Canary Wharf
Zachary Daniels are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a finance team of 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial documents, and assisting with the preparation of financial accounts. The successful candidate will be working for a successful food wholesalers who have a high turner and a global presence.
Day to Day of the Role
- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and enter data into accounting using sage line 50
- Raising invoices via Sage
- Complete VAT return and submit to HMRC
- Raising payments
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit control - chasing new and aged debt
- Payroll duties
- Verify the accuracy of business accounts and report any errors to the Director
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets
- Producing month and year end accounts
- Experience using sage line 50
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
