MERCHANDISING ADMIN ASSISTANT | PREMIUM RETAILER | MENSWEAR £23,000 - £25,000
Zachary Daniels are proud to be partnering with a specialist retailer who are looking to expand their merchandising function.As the Merchandising Assistant you will assist your merchandiser with the management of the department through the day to day admin tasks that are required.
You'll be responsible for loading PO's and ensuring the critical path is on time with the supply base alongside your buying counterparts. From managing this you will be responsible for your delivery schedule and will be pro-active in keeping your Merchandiser up to date with stock intake. You'll be getting stuck in from the offset so this role offers great exposure and progression.
RESPONSBILITIES INCLUDE:- Preparing trade reports on Monday alongside your merchandising & buying team
- Confident to run and own the running of any reporting that your JM or Merchandiser require
- Act as a point of contact to the supply base for the security of order delivery
- Support the merchandising function with any analysis required for range builds, best & worst and range reviews
- Assist the buying team with the critical path to ensure stock control is in line with your delivery schedule
- Stay on top of the competition and manage a pricing file for your department through comp shops with the buying team
- Review sizing curves and needs for the department
- Feel confident to put your suggestions forward when placing new orders or repeats
- Confident & approachable, with a can do attitude
- Allocator/MAA background preferred but not essential
- Numerically sound & excel competent
- Team player
- Takes initiative
- General understanding of the buying cycle either from past Studies, placement years or past buying/merchandising roles
