Zachary Daniels are currently representing a leading UK clothing brand in the market as they look for a Lead Designer to join their team on a Mat Cover/ 12 Month FTC. As the Lead Designer you will be joining an amazing company with a collaborative and supportive work family style culture.

The company are hugely successful with a number of new store openings last year taking them to 100+ stores across the UK. They have also invested in a few other brands so there's an opportunity for a real variety of work and creativity.

As the Lead Designer your role will be to work alongside the Head of Creative in managing and leading the creative team to create exciting, distinctive, on brand and commercial assets. Supporting marketing activity across the business - including stores, online, catalogues, marketing, sponsorships, wholesale and PR.

Lead Designer - responsibilities:

• Manage all print briefs, workflow and the jobs tracker
• Manage middleweight designers work flow and working alongside them to deliver all concepts and print ready deliverables
• Manage and develop the creative team to build a motivated, inspired team delivering high quality work.
• Act as brand guardian for all creative assets produced, ensuring all assets are considered, on brand and meet the requirements of the brief, managing the sign off process where required.
• Work closely with the VM team to create strong and impactful window and in-store concepts
• Creating effective seasonal concepts and solutions for all multi-channel design
• Work closely with our Marketing and sponsorship teams to deliver assets
• Catalogue design - working alongside our head of creative, production manager and in-house retoucher, you'll be designing the catalogue for every season - from initial creative layouts through to completion.
• Assist and support the Head of Creative in the research, conceptualisation, preparation and successful execution of photoshoots
• Support and assist off-site creative agencies where needed.

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• Experience in a similar, in-house design role at a multichannel retail company
• Excellent design skills and experience of all relevant creative processes and good knowledge of Adobe creative suites
• Inspirational manager: able to contribute and develop ideas, and support the design team in developing new ideas.
• Good communicator, with a positive and can-do attitude and able to manage own workload and go the extra mile when required.
• Experience and interest in fashion and clothing brands and marketing.
• Experience on shoot - both location and studio
