ACCOUNT MANAGER | UK RETAIL | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT | £40,000 - £45,000

As the Account Manager you will be experienced with nurturing and growing relationships with both new and existing partners. This opportunity really suits both wholesale and buying backgrounds.

For this business, retail relationships are the driving force and reason for their success, so as an account manager you will be developing & delivering desirable ranges for key highstreet brands to stock.

Account management here means being the primary contact to partners, ability to spot opportunties, commercially react to trends, sales and execute strategic plans for growth.

ACCOUNT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expand business with new partners
  • Expand range offer and sales with current partners
  • Drive sales with delivering new and exciting product
  • Achieve sales targets and margin gains with fair negotiation and price sensitivity
  • Set clear strategies at the start of each season, with the ability to adapt by each partners needs
  • Understand and commercially build product to each partners best sellers and range gaps
  • Set clear pricing architectures
  • Execute promotional activity, if required, that is marginally beneficial mutually
  • Manage all partner terms and contractual agreements
  • Experienced with sales reporting and data building around sales, stock and cash performance
  • Naturally a commercial thinker and achiever
  • Strategic experience is essential
