Zachary Daniels are currently recruiting for a number of Department Managers for a leading fast fashion retailer in Central London. Our client is looking for proven retail managers who can lead teams in various locations where you will work in an operational role, but, ensure you team deliver a personal service to customers.
The role of a Department Manager is crucial in our clients structure, due to the smaller store sizes, you will be heavily involved in all key business areas. As a Department Manager, you will ensure that all day-to-day operational aspects of the store are managed effectively, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.
Department Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of store operations, including managing staff, inventory management, sales and revenue generation, and customer service satisfaction
- Manage staffing levels and schedules
- Ensuring that team members are providing high-quality customer service
- Train, mentor, and coach team members, promoting skill development and providing opportunities for growth
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and senior management
Experience and background as a Department Manager
- Retail experience at either Supervisor / Floor Manager/Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager level.
- Working within a fashion or accessory environment
- Currently managing KPIs and budgets to improve their current store performance
- Confident leader and motivator
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service
- Business orientated, to help move a retail store forward
