Zachary Daniels are recruiting for a HR Analyst to join a fast expanding retailer based in Manchester. This is a fixed term contract until June 2021.

As the HR Analyst you will have a track record of working off your own initiative to support HRIS, records management and GDPR. You will use HRIS and the payroll system to produce meaningful timely reports and management information that adds value to the management of the business.

Administering the annual pay and bonus project will be a large part of this role, whilst providing an issue free efficient transactional service and efficient administration as required.

Good knowledge and understanding of HR systems is essential, this will be ideally with the PeopleHR and iChris payroll systems.

Advanced level skills of Excel skills are also needed.

An overview of the role and responsibilities can be found below:

Policy and Procedure

  • Produces reports and Management Information to enable annual pay and bonus project and compliance with required legislation such as gender pay reporting and national minimum / living wage compliance.
  • Manages data in line with data protection / GDPR requirements.


  • Produces first class reports and Management Information / People MI Dashboards
  • Supports efficient administration of pay review, bonus payments and delivery of employee benefits & systems
  • Super-user system administrator on HR system
  • Able to investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Produce management Information and Board reports as required.
  • Able to produce complex spreadsheets and programme complex calculations eg bonus schemes using extracts from HR system and excel.

Learning and Development

  • Super user of Excel and all HR systems - able to train different system users such as HR, Payroll, Manager Self Service and Employee Self Service.
  • Constantly refreshes knowledge of various systems and relevant legislation

Organisational Design

  • Ensure that HR system reflects up to date organisational structure at all times.

HR Plans

  • Supports HR projects involving HR systems and technology.
  • Support the HR team in delivery of projects and Group wide people initiatives as required.
