Zachary Daniels are partnering with one of our clients to recruit a Customer Service Manager for their team in the Northwest.

Our client is an established retailer known for delivering an amazing product and guest experience to customers, as a result, we want to recruit a Customer Service Manager who can drive the customer experience and develop an existing team. This role is based in a Head Office and transferable experience from a similar Customer Service Management role is important. We want a highly experienced Customer Service Manager with a track record of success in customer centric roles. You will be managing a small team, but need to be actively involved in customer calls and managing complaints or challenges on a consistent basis. You will be hands on and engaged with customers!

We are keen to speak to Customer Service Managers with experience of managing service standards for retailers, this could be working with an outsourced call centre, or working in a retail head office.

Key responsibilities as a Customer Service Manager:

  • Implement high standards across the team
  • Strong understanding or retail customer service
  • Experience of retail and/or FMCG environments
  • Driving the performance of a team of customer service advisors to ensure quality targets & KPI's are consistently met in a customer-focused environment.
  • Coaching and developing new starters
  • Manage complaints and willing to be involved in all areas of your department
  • Developing staff through monthly 121's
  • Motivating your team to deliver results
  • Take ownership of issues and problems
  • Using management information to help drive performance
  • Engage with all key departments in Head Office

Key Requirements in our new Customer Service Manager:

  • Experience managing a customer service team
  • Experience of managing a retail team or retail contracts in a contact centre
  • Motivation to develop your career to the next level
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be a hands on Customer Service Manager
  • Implement training and development programs for your team
  • Experience of growing teams and increasing head count
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and determined
  • Track record of achievement and success
