Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with an amazing global business who have exciting growth plans. We are seeking a driven and passionate Head of Sales to drive in-store sales, ensure efficient delivery operations, and establish and maintain strategic partnerships.
You will be overseeing and leading a team with 3 direct reports: In-Store Sales Manager, a Delivery Manager, and a Partnership Manager. This role will be responsible for sites based in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The ideal candidate will be a natural leader and must have experience of maximising in-store sales, ensuring efficient delivery options and be able to maintain and establish strategic partnerships. Experience within multi-site hospitality venues, restaurant or coffee chains, (food and drink industry) is a must have.
The role as the Head of Sales:
- Set clear expectations, delegate tasks, and empower team members to achieve their individual and collective targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with the In-Store Sales Manager to develop and implement the strategy set by HQ
- Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and follow up and monitor KPI's such as app conversions and extra 'last minute' ordered items
- Execute in-store sales campaigns
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided by people working on the till, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
- Monitor 3rd party delivery KPI's to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Address customer or store complaints or issues related to deliveries and take necessary actions to resolve them.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Manager to identify potential partnership opportunities.
- Support with leads to event department
- Monitor partnership performance and secure partnership goals and performance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience at Head of Sales or Senior Sales Manager level (or equivalent as a minimum)
- Proven experience in food and drink industry, ideally in an international retail setting
- Strong sales skills with a track record of increasing in-store sales, improving efficient delivery options and working with external partnerships.
- Strong communication skills to build and maintain business relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in an environment that offers a high degree of responsibility, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Solid organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of Sales Managers, Delivery Managers and Partnerships Manager.
- Proficient in systems, and technologies in-order to drive innovation, streamlining, and value-creation within the work environment.
Head of Sales package:
The salary offered is c.€80,000 (doe) + great company benefits
Please note, candidates will be working in the Paris office 5 days per week
